Expérience fantastique: Lorenzo was a great tour guide. He knows his history and presented a great story and vision of the time! It was a great way to learn about the details of Versailles, the gardens, the petit Trianon, and the Hamlet. I feel like I had a personal history lesson.
Expérience fantastique: Our guide Nicolas was wonderful, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. We were a group of 5 women, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Expérience fantastique: We did two tours while in Paris with this group, including private tours of both Notre Dame et La Louvre. Helena was our extremely knowledgable, genteel and most kind tour guide for the Louvre. We skipped the lines throughout la musee and got exclusive access to unique exhibits like David’s work, typically scattered throughout Europe, it was a real treat to see all of David’s life’s work in full display in his home country, France. David was not just a revolutionary painter, but believed in revolutionary politics as well. David’s passion overtook us as we gazed at the magnificent expressions of Napoleonic France, as well as self portraits and a plethora of other themed works in what is arguably the most impressive collective works by David on the planet—certainly once-in-a-lifetime! We ventured further into the great halls with Helena to see famous works by artists like Michelangelo, et bien sur, DaVinci, as well as expansive exhibits connected to Egypt and Rome, even exploring the very foundational stones of the Louvre itself. Helena was professional and helped us easily navigate beyond the crowds, effortlessly flowing from Francais to Anglaise as she expertly explained the history, art and culture in 2/3 branches of the Louvre. With Helena’s assistance, we had a truly unique and tres exclusive look at arguably the largest collection of human art (in all its many forms) the world has ever seen. Our Tour Guide for Notre Dame, Louis (en Francais, mais vous demandez “Luigi”), was professional and knowledgable; he rode with us on the way to the Cathedral, giving us great background on the city as we went. There are underground ruins of an ancient Jupiter temple on site—that’s not included but something to consider for history buffs. Napoleon and Victor Hugo are synonymous with the Cathedral that was nearly lost to a tragic fire in 2019. This tour should precede the Louvre tour, where you can see depictions of Notre Dame throughout the museum and will have a deeper understanding of not only the art itself, but also, of the historical context. Je parle Francais, mais my companion did not and Louis was very good with speaking both to me and my tres Amercain companion, so if you also do not parlez Francais, you will have no problems at all. An unexpected but wonderful surprise orchestrated by Louis was being introduced to Father Olivier Ribadeau Dumas, the Rector of Notre Dame Cathedral overseeing the reconstruction project after the fire. Notre Dame was actually closed to tours until last year; so it’s an exceptional honour and privilege to be able to return to this masterpiece of Gothic architecture with such a rich history, and obviously, very special for anyone of the Catholique faith. Note on Choosing to include the Transfers: the Mercedes Van was quite comfortable but our second transfer driver was not flexible on time for our return from Notre Dame; we chose to end our tour with the 12-12:30 mass. The transportation is extra $$$—best advice is to take a taxi to/from Notre Dame for your tour with Louis if staying in the city. It’s a safe area and you can go to the nearby Latin Quarter (a la ‘Emily in Paris’) afterward. The exceptions here are obviously the Versailles Tours from Paris (and the incredible Burgundy tour!), as well as the Louvre. For our Louvre tour, Helena helped us locate our driver for our return trip; he was more understanding of time given the size of the Louvre. After all the walking you’ll do in this tres grande musee, arranging for the transportation is a welcome respite in a relatively chaotic drop off/pick up area. Better safe than sorry! Expérience fantastique: Had a wonderful trip to Normandy with Nicolas! He was both knowledgeable and informative, and understood the emotions of the trip. His combined history and anecdotes throughout the day gave us a vision of the events of the time. Absolutely worthwhile trip, and you can't go wrong with Nicolas.
Expérience fantastique: Nicolas was an amazing tour guide for our teenage boys. Kept them interested for hours on both the architecture as well as the paintings at the Louvre. I highly recommend him!
Expérience fantastique: Leá was an amazing guide. We were very interested in the Trianons and hamlet. Well worth the walk. Her expertise and love for the palace was evident and made for an amazing day. Don’t miss the Alps!
Expérience fantastique: There was nine of us and we took the private tour for the Louvre. Our guides Nicolas and Karine really know the history and made an amazing museum even more so. We went on really busy dates, but honestly with this tour it didn't feel like it. We had a private entrance to the museum so the line was a lot shorter than if we would've gone on our own. I would 100% recommend!!!

Expérience fantastique: My husband and I, along with another couple spent the day with Lilit and our driver Sid to do 1/2 day at Versailles and 1/2 at the Louvre. It was by far the best decision we could have made. Lilit was so knowledgeable and really made our day informative and enjoyable. We all agreed that while it’s a long day, we would all do it over again as there is just no way that you could see these two spots so efficiently and learn so much as about them as we did with Lilit. Expérience fantastique: Lorenzo met at us at our hotel to take us to the Basilica of Saint-Denis. It was an important destination for me as I have made stained glass windows all my life and was making a pilgrimage to where Gothic architecture developed. From the moment we entered the car Lorenzo shared information and answered questions which deepened my anticipation of what was to come. Lorenzo has a historians knowledge of his subject, but presents it conversationally, unpretentiously. Once at the Basilica he explained the early origins of the current building and the opening up of the architecture to larger stained glass windows. In the crypt he explained the history of the kings of France buried there, continuing to answer questions as we walked along. Having Lorenzo as our private guide elevated the experience beyond expectation.

We were greeted personally at our hotel door by our personal guide, Louie, and our outstanding driver Guillaume. Guillaume may be the best driver in Paris- incredibly safe and smooth. We arrived at Versailles to the most unbelievable experience. Louie has been an expert tour guide for decades, and it shows with his incredible knowledge of the grounds, the main castle, and all the beautiful art. Our tour was extensive, and I felt that every moment was a one of a kind experience to learn, to touch, to enjoy the whole world that Frances royalty built. Expérience positive: I enjoyed the full day, private tour of Versailles, but a few things left the experience feeling less than worth it that I wanted to share. First, our tour guide, while knowledgable to an extent, didn't seem to have answers to a number of our questions. She mentioned she switched careers during COVID and hadn't been doing this that long. I also was a little disappointed that she didn't make an effort to ensure my husband was getting a lot out of the tour. I am very passionate about history and asked a number of questions, so she focused on me and answered them. However, it was clear a lot was going over my husband's head, and she didn't make an effort to explain things to him or ensure he was also having a good time. Lastly, it was just too expensive for what we got. 600 euros per person? Yikes. Unfortunately I can't recommend. I do, however, recommend visiting Marie Antoinette's palace and hamlet. That was pretty cool.

Regarding the price of the tour: we understand that 600€ per person is a significant cost. It's important to clarify that this rate includes far more than just a day at Versailles. It reflects the high standard of private service in France: a certified, experienced guide entirely dedicated to your small group, a professional private driver, skip-the-line tickets, taxes, insurance, wages for our hard working office team, and multiple commission systems from our booking platforms and secure payment partners. We are transparent about these costs because we believe in fair pay and quality service — and because we are proud to work with passionate, dedicated professionals who make these tours possible.
However, if at any point you felt the value didn’t match the experience, that’s something we must face head-on. We are always striving to do better.

And the most impressive part was the exuberance, the knowledge and the amazing personality of both of our guides- we can’t recommend them enough. William our guide was FANTASTIC- engaging, very knowledgable, and a great story teller. The tour was tailored to our interests and Nathanael gave us tips on how to continue our visit in the Louve after the tour finishes. Obviously, given the Louve is so big, the tour can only cover parts of it. For the parts we visited, Nathanael covered it thoroughly and thoughtfully. We were not rushed and had engaging conversations. Nathanael also adjusted his plan knowing we are from NYC because certain collections are similar in the MET and other collections could be skipped since we recently visited Uffizi. This shows how knowledgeable Nathanael is. Great way to have our experience in the Louve and not feeling stressed out.

Expérience fantastique: My parents, husband, and I did a half day trip to Versailles with Gabriel and the entire experience was absolutely wonderful! Gabriel met us at our hotel along with the driver. The ride was very comfortable to and from. Gabriel was extremely knowledgeable about Versailles and patient with my family and I. My Dad (74 yrs old) has issues walking up and down stairs and Gabriel was very accommodating to our pace. We toured the gardens and King/Queen quarters and left feeling much more educated on the beautiful Palace and grounds. Would 100% recommend doing this tour.

It was an insanely hot day, and he helped keep us cool by guiding us through shaded areas plus he had crowd-skipping tricks that kept us on-the-go while still fully experiencing the the vast and rich history of the palace and grounds. If you can request Monty by name for your tour-DO IT.

Our guide was knowledgeable and patient, and made real-time adjustments to our tour to accommodate my 12 year old granddaughter and her mother who was not feeling well. Our guide picked us up promptly at our hotel. The driver was safe and courteous, and the vehicle was comfortable and elegant. Our guide spoke English flawlessly, and gave us just enough history of Versailles to satisfy me, but not bore my granddaughter. He also pointed out landmarks and their history on the drive from Paris to Versailles. These tours are very much worth the money.

His explanation of Gothic architecture and construction was the best I have ever heard. Louis was so considerate and attentive of the needs of our group. His English is outstanding and coupled with his Parisian accent, a pleasure to hear. In summary, Louis is a charming enthusiastic scholarly guide and teacher. Expérience fantastique: We had an exceptional day on the private tour to Versailles and Giverny. Our guide, Louie, was very knowledgeable and had a great command of the English language! I had previously been on this same excursion but, with a different company and you can’t even compare them because this was far superior in so many ways. I learned so much. Expérience fantastique: Great experience! Driver was early and presented himself and the vehicle very nicely. He was a gentleman even dropped us off at a restaurant near the hotel to save us the walk on the way back Helena the guide was amazing she was funny pleasant and well-informed. When we had a little trouble understanding her english she was able to switch over to Spanish and accommodate us.Overall great experience!
Expérience fantastique: We had a private tour of Notre Dame Cathedral bhy our tour guide Jane from Paris to Versailles Private Tours. This was an EXCELLENT experience - she was knowledgeable, great personal attention. Wonderful review of both the external architecture, history, interior chapels and how they consistently told the History of Salvation to the people of the 12th and 13th centuries who didn't have access to books but could "read" this validation of their faith so Beautifully.
Expérience fantastique: We had an amazing time touring the Louve with Lilit. She gave us so much history and information. We were able to by pass the lines during a busy day. I would totally recommend this tour. The next time I come to Paris I will call Lilit to show me Versaille.
Expérience fantastique: We had an absolutely spectacular visit to Versailles with this company. Our guide Ana was so kind, knowledgeable, and engaging. Her vast knowledge and storytelling skill was just amazing. Skipping the long line to get in made such a difference in our experience. Ana knew exactly where to take us inside Versailles and around the gardens to avoid crowds and get the best pictures! She answered all of our many questions, and she made the whole day fun! And our driver Guillome was wonderful - the car was so comfortable, and he also provided a unique perspective on our ride back to Paris. He took us on a scenic route back to our hotel, pointing out many fascinating landmarks we would never would have known about otherwise. Thank you Ana and Guillome for an unforgettable experience! Expérience fantastique: We had an outstanding day with Tour Guide Annalie and driver Guillaume on a trip to Giverny and Monet's garden and house and then on to Versailles. As a registered Tour Guide I can say that Annalie is the finest in the profession. She is incredibly well informed and conveys information in a very informal conversational way; and art in itself. Look out for this couple; they are an outstanding combination.
Expérience fantastique: Everything was amazing. Lilit was wonderful! We saw things we didn’t get to see when we came to Paris two years ago. We will definitely use Paris to Versailles again when we come back, and we are definitely planning on coming back. Jennifer was also super helpful in answering all of my questions. We have a handicapped son and using Paris to Versailles for a private tour made everything so easy and stress free.

While the palace and grounds are so impressive, our guide brought it to life with her knowledge and stories. Expérience fantastique: Fantastic experience! We used Paris to Versailles for several tours on our recent trip to Paris, including Versailles, the Louvre, and the Catacombs. All of our guides were fantastic, knowledgeable, and organized. The drivers were incredibly professional and friendly. At one point, we left a few things in one of the cars and the driver returned to our hotel twice after finding both in the vehicle. The Versailles “Behind Hidden Doors” tour was especially fantastic. Getting the private chambers of Louis XVI completely to ourselves was a phenomenal change of pace relative to the typical experience at Versailles (even with a private guide). I highly recommend Paris to Versailles for any tours and travel services in the area.

There were some strikes happening within Versaille and the team at Paris to Versaille were so accommodating & had excellent communication throughout. Our guide Annalie was incredible! We had our 3 year old son with us through the tour and she was so engaging with him as well as us adults. 10/10 recommend.
Expérience fantastique: Max was a fabulous guide! He knew where our interests lie and made she he shared details on those topics as well as other details throughout the palace, gardens and the queen’s private estate that we never would have learned on our own. The company thinks of everything from start to finish. My only critique is in their advice on tipping. We were told tipping is not common in France yet on our tickets you suggest tipping the guide as well as the driver. But you don’t suggest what a fair tip would be so we had no idea. When we gave them their tip they seemed confused and I felt maybe I had done something wrong! I hope neither of the gentlemen were offended as we just weren’t sure what was appropriate. I will never forget the wonderful day they gave us.

Expérience fantastique: We had a lovely tour with Anna our guide. She educated us about the Louvre’s history, the story behind the pyramid entrance, the basement moats and the major artefacts. The tour was done at an easy going pace, we did not feel rushed. Anna encouraged us to ask questions and we got to know a lot about the French royalty through her. Highly recommended. This is the proper way to enjoy La Louvre

Our tour guide Lorenzo was incredible, his vast knowledge was awe inspiring. 10/10 from our entire group, I would highly recommend! Request Lorenzo, he is fantastic!!
Expérience fantastique: Recently took a private half day tour of Versailles with Anaïs as our guide. Her knowledge is impressive. She is young and passionate and in time her delivery will improve. Her English is good and we enjoyed her stories which added to the overall learning experience.
Expérience fantastique: Our family really enjoyed the “Notre Dame and surroundings” tour. We did several tours in Paris during our visit but our Paris-to-Versailles/Hidden Gems guide (Lilleth) was the best! She was an expert on the tour content, but also offered us tips about other restaurants/activities to visit later based on our interest that she picked up on about us.
Expérience fantastique: The 1/2 day Versailles tour with Anaïs was incredible!! She is extremely knowledgeable and personable. She transported our group of 8 back in time with ease, making us feel as if we were part of French history. I believe you could never get enough of this tour as there is so much to see there. The driver, Sid, was kind and thoughtful. Both were great communicators. Truly 5 star experience all around!!
