Expérience fantastique: We spent a wonderful morning with Marine and Maelle in the Louvre. We did the Treasure Hunt tour with our group of 10 that included 4 children. We all had a fantastic time! The kids asked questions, learned about history, and enjoyed finding the treasure at the end of the tour! I would highly recommend this tour to families traveling to Paris!

I greatly appreciated the personal attention from the very first email. The preliminary zoom call helped me talk through some logistics I hadn’t considered and together, we came up with a great plan. Each tour was led by a different guide, all of whom seemed to be selected with the needs of our family in mind. Neither my husband nor my boys complained, despite historically high temperatures and minimal A/C in most places, because the guides were able to keep things interesting and keep us moving. At the end of each tour, the guides were kind and helpful, directing us to delicious restaurants for lunch and offering suggestions about places to explore during our afternoons. I would highly recommend My Private Paris to anyone who appreciates personal touches, deep local knowledge, and great attention to detail.

Expérience fantastique: Excellent experience from beginning to end. They provided a free 30 minute zoom to go over wants/needs and from there kept in great communication about everything. They sent an amazing little PDF packet with pictures of our guides, their bio's and info. It was so helpful and clear. I also did price comparisons and they were right in line with other services, so it was a good deal too if you have the money to spend on this service. My family (me, my husband, and 4 kids ages 2-9) booked our entire Paris adventure with My Private Paris including airport transfers, city tour, Montmarte, Siene cruise, croissant making, chocolate tour, Eiffel tower tour, photoshoot, and Louvre. The guides were all amazing and went above and beyond. I wouldn't have changed a thing about our itinerary except maybe have made it longer because we just had so much fun and felt so well cared for. Expérience fantastique: We enjoyed a half day private tour of Giverny with Quentin. He and our driver were on time, and the drive from Paris was lovely. Once we got to Giverny, our trip was vastly improved by being with Quentin. He is very knowledgeable about Giverny and Monet, but was especially helpful navigating us through the crowds. (It was crowded!). Getting us right to the house before the line got too long, sharing his insights about paintings and Monet’s life, touring the gardens and the famous lake and bridge were all wonderful. We enjoyed our time with Quentin and would be delighted to tour with him again. Definitely recommend.

He put together an amazing full week of tours, drivers, and tour guides for us. He also arranged a full day trip to London with door to door service. All the guides that we encountered were amazing and full of knowledge and expertise in the areas we were seeing. We were traveling with someone that uses a walker and they were very accommodating to ensure that her needs were also met. Bertrand sent us a day by day schedule with info on drivers, guides and contact numbers for all in case we needed to contact them during our trip. It was so sad to leave and get back to reality but I will always remember the fabulous trip we had and look forward to returning someday. We booked two personalized tours and were absolutely thrilled with both. Our first day with Flora, exploring the Louvre and Montmartre, was a highlight. Flora was exceptional at engaging my 10-year-old niece, making her feel included and interested throughout the day. At the Louvre, she expertly guided us to the must-see masterpieces, maximizing our limited time. Her tour of Montmartre provided a wonderful local perspective, and she was simply a delight to spend the day with. We highly recommend her tour! The following day, Jean showed us the very best of Paris in a single day. Despite the terrible weather, Jean and our chauffeur were well-prepared and ensured we saw all the key sights, including the Arc de Triomphe, Sainte Chapelle, and the Eiffel Tower, while minimizing our exposure to the rain. From the initial planning to the tours themselves, every interaction with My Private Paris was top-notch and seamless. Expérience fantastique: My partner and I booked 6 different tours with My Private Paris during our trip to Paris in March. Each of the tours turned up to be wonderful, and together they made our time in Paris one of our most cherished moments in our lifetimes. We would like to begin by sharing our favourite tour, which is the full day Versailles and Petit Trianon tour with our lovely tour guide Victor. We really adored Victor for not only his passion and knowledge, but also for his kindness, humor and attention to detail. He even gave us a sweet little surprise by bringing us French pastries for our indulgence while strolling on the Royal Garden. Throughout the tour, his great storytelling elevated our understanding and admiration of the Palace, the Garden and the Petit Trianon, and his care for us had made us feel very comfortable and at ease. It was a perfect full day tour, and we felt like we gained a friend in the end. We had another amazing full day tour when we did the Paris Highlights Tour with our delightful tour guide Soline. We greatly appreciated Soline for several things she had done for us. She went out of her way to reserve tickets of Notre Dame Cathedral for us, and she had also brought us to the beautiful Luxembourg Garden to fulfill our wish. Even more impressive, she walked us from the Luxembourg Garden, through Pont Alexandre III, and along Champs-Elysees to Arc de Triomphe. We cherished Soline for walking with us through the great distance, and for looking after us so well throughout the tour. Our quiet lunch at the Luxembourg Garden, under the blue skies will forever be etched and imprinted in our hearts. We would also like to thank our other amazing tour guides - Olek, for his passion and energy that turned Louvre and Orsay into a fun and fruitful journey; Lucien, for his great little stories and lead along the alleys of Montmartre; Manu, for his humor that warmed us up while being soaked in heavy rain at the summit of the Eiffel Tower; and Laure, for her intricate tour of the Covered Passages, Bibliotheque Nationale de France, and Opera Garnier. We fell in love with Paris in our time here, and My Private Paris played a great part behind that. Without a doubt, we would love to book new tours with My Private Paris again if we return to the City of Lights.

Expérience fantastique: We signed up for the full-day Versailles Tour with transportation from our hotel in the 7th arrondissement. Exactly at 0800 our guide, Quentin, arrived at our hotel with our driver in a new Porsche Panamera sedan for our trip to Versailles. Quentin was personable, friendly, and a wealth of information about Versailles. He handled all the arrangements and escorted us throughout virtually all of the accessible areas of the palace. He had also arranged for our lunch at Ducasse (yes, an Alain Ducasse restaurant located within the Versailles palace - see separate review of the restaurant, under Ore - Ducasse au Chateau de Versailles - spoiler - very, very good). Quentin had an amazing range of knowledge about the palace and about the furnishings and artwork throughout. He was highly informative without overloading us with too much detail, and where appropriate, he simply got us to another amazing location and let us look around for ourselves. His special guide permit allowed him (and us) to enter many of the rooms that require separate tickets to enter, and we bypassed some bunches of visitors through doors only accessible by licensed Versailles guides. We visited on a cold January day (high was 40F that day) and that kept the crowds away. Quentin kept exclaiming that he had never seen so few visitors in Versailles. That was great for us, as we never felt crowded and in fact were all by ourselves in some of the rooms of the palace. Following a great lunch, Quentin escorted us to the Petite Trianon and to the fantasy village built for Marie Antoinette. Quentin pointed out how the palace, the Parc de Versailles, the landscaping were all carefully designed to awe visitors. Most visitors would never know how the hill that leads from the palace down to the statute of Apollo is designed to trick the eye and make new surprising vistas appear as you progress. Or how the lake was designed to make it feel much longer and farther through subtle engineering. We also would never have known all the inside meta-symbology is spread throughout the palace and the art. All the associations with Apollo for Louis XIV (the "Sun King") hidden within the columns, wall and ceiling decorations mean a lot more when you know why they are designed that way. After a full day of Versailles palace, Petit Trianon, and Marie Antoinette's fantasy village, we were glad to see our driver waiting for us on a street right next to the fantasy village, so we didn't need to hike a mile back to the palace parking areas. We had a nice ride back to our hotel. Highly recommended - we had an exceptional time. Quentin was a wonderful tour guide, and we appreciated his excellent English and encyclopedic knowledge of Versailles and the history of the French aristocracy.

Expérience fantastique: Our family of 5 had an amazing walking tour of Le Marais with Audrey. She grew up in the area so she made it her goal for us to love Le Marais as much as she did, and she succeeded! In addition to the history of the area, we also had fun finding a specific artist’s street art pieces on various buildings. The entire process of booking the tour and the tour itself was seamless. I highly recommend My Private Paris to anyone who wants to get a more in depth view of the City of Light.

Expérience fantastique: We went for the half day Paris tour and Orsay museum private tour with My Private Paris. The entire experience was wonderful and worth the money paid! Alexandre, our trip co-ordinator was really helpful during the initial free consultations and helped us form a concrete plan for 2 days. Our guide for the tour, Doina and our Chauffeur (apologies I forgot his name) were really wonderful, courteous and super super helpful. We had special needs which they were so accommodative of. The vehicle was a comfortable premium sedan. Overall, 100% recommend my private Paris if you are looking for a thoroughly professional private tour experience.

Expérience fantastique: This November we took our first trip ever to Paris. It was a quick 4-day trip and I was overwhelmed with all the city had to offer. I came across My Private Paris from the Les Frenchies facebook group and I'm so glad that I did! After initially reaching out I was connected with a planner. I explained the type of things we were looking to do and from there the planner did the rest. Within a few days I had a very exciting itinerary laid out for our trip. We worked with the planner to make a few adjustments, confirmed the agenda, paid through their portal and then we were set. Prior to departing we received access to an app that had our agenda, meeting locations and contact information for drivers and guides. Like clockwork our guides and drivers met us exactly where they said they would meet us and when. A+ for logistics. As far as the actual tours go, I'm still in awe. We've toured with other professional companies in the past and none of the guides were as well versed and passionate as these guides. Each guide we worked with, was full of information turning every single day into a fun history lesson. While we only spent four days in Paris I walked away learning so much about the architecture, layout, culture et cetera. My wife wasn't keen on having tour guides with us throughout our trip but by the end she was thrilled that we did. Now when we go visit again, we'll really feel like we have an edge over the city. The cost wasn't super prohibitive and the experience was over the top! Arrival Day: Flora accompanied us to the Rodin, Concorde Square and the Invalids. Her knowledge of Rodin as well as the history of Paris and the revolution was remarkable. She really brought the city to life for us. Museum day: Lucien accompanied us to the Orsay, Orangerie, Louvre and Opera. He knew the buildings inside and out, he knew every detail about the art he showed us. It was like a really fun history lesson of all the things they didn't teach us in the US school system. Our tour was 9 hours which meant we also had to stop for lunch. He found has a great little bistro that wasn't full of tourists and we were able to have a great/quick lunch. Wine and Cheese Tasting: We did this was Marie. First stop she met us at a cheese shop and talked us through the variety of cheeses. She told us to think of her as our fun grandmother, meaning she was going to fill us up with wine and cheese before we were done! She helped us pick out a bunch of cheeses and then we went to the bakery for some bread. From there we walked around Le Marais and learned a bit about the neighborhood, finally ending up at the tasting room. The room was in a really cool cellar of a local wine shop. We pair the wine, cheese and breads and the experience was nothing short of spectacular, relaxing and informative. Marie also gave my wife tips on where to find some vintage bags after the tour. Montmarte: Our guide Audrey was a Montmarte local and that just made this tour even more special. We started at the Moulin Rouge and made our way up to Sacre Coeur. Along the way Audrey was pointing out homes of famous painters, locations that inspired famous paintings, modern art and spots where the locals love to hang out and have a cup of coffee. You could feel her passion for the area and that made this tour super special. Overall - we had an incredible experience with our guides (hence the novel I wrote). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend My Private Paris and I have already told others that they need to use this service next time they are in Paris. Thank you for making our trip so special!

Expérience fantastique: We did three tours with My Private Paris (Latin Quarter, Opera and Covered Passages, Orsay & Montmartre). They were all AMAZING. The guides we had were all true experts — typically with a PhD in art history and certified (meaning they did the required year of training so can wear the badge and are often allowed to skip the queue (as we did this morning)), but most importantly they were so enthusiastic (oh, and their English is perfect). We loved all the tours and recommend them all, but particularly enjoyed the “covered passages” tour simply because it was off the beaten path. Highly recommend My Private Paris.

Our tour included a tour of a local cheese shop, a walk through some of the quiet streets in Les Marais, followed by a wine and cheese pairing. Our event was topped off with an artisan pastry tasting. Our private tour was hosted by Marie who is incredibly charming, accommodating, knowledgeable, and engaging (even with my two teenage sons). I couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable time and we are very grateful to Manon and Marie for helping us make some great family memories!

Expérience fantastique: We found out about My Private Paris via Les Frenchies on YouTube. When I reached out to them, they quickly responded and were easy to deal with as we mapped out our plans. We landed on a half day private tour of the Louvre… and were asked to meet our guide before opening at a specific place. Charlotte showed up and instantly started to engage the kids. She is sharp, flamboyant (in a good way) and made sure that everyone was involved in the conversation. The most interesting part of the tour was that she always had a way of sliding us through or into the right spot at the right time all the while maintaining an interactive conversation with all 5 of us. We got amazing pictures of everything and she had a knack of getting to an important item or display when there really wasn’t anyone there (or there was a gap in the crowd). The kids were so engaged that by the end they were totally into it… which was our biggest concern going in. There was absolutely no way we could have done the Louvre without Charlotte and My Private Paris.

Expérience fantastique: Highly highly reccomend My Private Paris to anyone coming to visit this beautiful city. We did the private Louvre tour and the WWII tour and both were incredible! Alex was so well informed and passionate about art. Our private tour of the Louvre with him was a huge highlight of our trip! We are not art connoisseurs, but Alex made the whole tour easy to follow and fun. He even gave us advice after the tour for different restaurants to try in the area. Most definitely book this tour with him! Our WWII tour brought us to different neighborhoods we otherwise wouldn’t have known to visit, like le Marais. We are well versed in the history of the war, but our tour guide Matthew was so well informed, we learned so much we never knew! Thanks to both Alex and Matthew for making our trip so incredible!

Alexandre was very responsive in his emails and put much thought into planning our trip according to our needs and desires. Maelle took us to beautiful sites and kept us on time for all that we wanted to see - from Notre Dame, Luxembourg Palace, up the Arc de Triomphe and much more. Showing us a fun Flash Invaders Hunt that the kids enjoyed the remaining days of our trip. Marc made our treasure hunt through the Louvre fun, keeping kids engaged and also taking us back for a detour to the Luxembourg park and letting the kids enjoy some more park time - the macrons, crepes and pastries were delicious! We also took a boat ride on the Seine with Captain Frank and Gaëtane. It was so relaxing and fun! Our last day of tours was with Charlotte, who to us to Versailles and a bike ride. It was so beautiful, especially the gardens, the bike, ride was a fun relaxed, needed ending for the tour. Our chauffeurs were all very kind, having drinks and snacks in cars and getting us everywhere on time safely. All of our tour guides were incredibly knowledgeable, kind and great with our kids. Thank you Alexandre for helping make this an incredible visit to Paris! We will be contacting you again!

Expérience fantastique: We had a private guide throught the catacombs. This was a hard tour to find for someone to do in a private setting. It was well worth the money. We had access to 2 different areas that standard tours don't. Without a good guide this is just a lot of bones, this is a must if planning on going.

Expérience fantastique: We did a 3 hour tour of the Louvre with Marijke, because it's always been the top of my bucket list to see this museum. I wanted it to be an awesome experience, so we did a private tour. This was far beyond my expectations. It was well worth the money to do this. We met up with her super easily, got into the museum quickly and extremely easily. And then we had a little extra time with her. And she was so knowledgeable and guided us through the museum like a breeze. And we could be in front of the crowds by each painting, because of tour guide etiquette! And overall she knew so many details to make this amazing. She clearly had a whole library of textbooks of info. in her brain to share with us. She even knew where non-busy bathrooms on our route were. Every detail was above and beyond. This was my favorite thing we did on our whole trip. The value for the cost is worth it.

She was very knowledgeable and the tour she provided was well planned, while also taking our interests into consideration. Versailles truly is immense! Alexandre created the perfect itinerary based on our needs. We had a hiccup with the weather on one of the tours. Even though it was last minute, Alexandre worked hard to come up with a plan B for us. All of our guides and drivers were professional, kind, and patient with us and our children. From the moment I contacted them a few months ago to starts planning our first trip to Paris, Alexandre and his team were incredibly helpful! Alexandre put together a great itinerary for us which included 4 days of tours. He asked lots of questions to gain as much information as possible to put together the perfect trip. And it was, absolutely perfect! Multiple tours over 4 days with the nicest guides to teach us about the wonderful city of Paris. Ludivine battled with rain, cold and wind with us on our whole day walking tour! Her love of Paris, it's history and legends, kept all of us intrigued all day, never concerning ourselves with the weather. Marie D. took us on a sweet shop tour through an enchanting area of the city with the best chocolatiers and pastry shops! The breads, pastries and chocolates were the best we've ever had. Florent took us out on a whole day excursion to Normandy. His passion for history and his knowledge of the events that occurred there and during WW2 were captivating and kept our teenage boys interested all day. Dominic was a great driver for a group who sometimes get car sick, but not a bit of it with him driving! Lucien took us on a magical tour through the Lourve museum. He really took into consideration what our boys might be interested in and taught us things we never knew about the sculptures and art! We ended our trip with a wonderful photography session with Romain. He captured some of the most incredible pictures! He has a special way of capturing a moment! I can not express enough how wonderful this company is. I highly recommend them to anyone visiting Paris. We fell in love with the city and a lot of that is thanks to this wonderful group of people who clearly love and cherish it.

We had been previous visits to Paris but our college age son had not been to Paris and Lucien made the tour interesting for all. It was a great progression through time o the beginnings of the Louvre and the special stories in history to make it truly memorable; not just marking down pictures/sites as being seen. The Opera and its interiors were stupendous and none of us had been there previously. The Versailles tour with Jean was wonderful (had never seen Petit Trianon) and Umberto at Fontainebleau so special with good correlations to other sites and time periods (special thanks for assistance with transport for our son back to Paris). Thanks to all these educated, congenial, and kind young men. Thanks to Lucien, Jean, and Umberto for a well informed, interesting, and all the organized visits. We would love to work with all of them again!!! Also, Manon arranged for our private champagne tour for my husband and I with Lucie-marvelous. Worked out perfectly and she was a truly great guide with lessons for us being more informed about Bordeaux wines. She taught us more about champagne private growers. Expérience fantastique: Such an amazing tour with a knowledgeable, friendly, and very patient guide named Humberto. There were many good points, but the main thing was how responsive he was to what we wanted to see/learn about. Humberto asked us what we wanted to see before entering and he worked those areas in while also broadening our horizons a bit by taking us to other areas as well. We’ve been home for over a month and are still talking about what we learned. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Expérience fantastique: What a treasure! My family first hired My Private Paris in 2017 and I liked them so much that I wanted to hire them again when some friends and I returned to Paris this fall. At first the link and email I had from 2017 didn't work and I thought that Covid might have put this group out of business. Then I googled their name and lo and behold, same group, didn't website. Hooray! We had Flora for a walking city high lights tour and I have to say we couldn't have loved her more. Engaging, funny, and knowledgeable, with perfect English. Then we had a Louvre tour with Maelle who we also loved! Witty and smart and tailored our tour to exactly what we were most interested in. Expérience fantastique: We were planning to skip the Louvre as crowds and sheer vastness of the grand museum seemed like it would be a stressful endeavor, but thankfully we saw Les Frenchies’ recommendation of My Private Paris and decided to bite the bullet and opt for this once in a lifetime visit in the right way! And boy we were so glad we did. We booked what we considered was a manageable 3 hour tour for “non-artsy” people like us, and were assigned Humberto as our guide. And Humberto was perfect! He navigated us right past the long entry lines and skipped past the overcrowded corridors to view underrated, awe-inspiring hidden gems in the museum. Humberto is a historian at heart - the perspective and context he provided behind each piece of art had us captured. He was able to answer all of our questions about French art and history, delving into the dramas of the monarchical eras, and would even humor us when we had off topic questions about current life in Paris. My Private Paris is definitely not the cheapest tour on Viator, but the value of having a highly experienced and personable tour guide as a companion all to ourselves was totally worth it. This cultural deep dive was not only forever memorable but has opened our minds to be curious for more. Highly recommend!

Expérience fantastique: Had a memorable two days of two different private tours. First was of Versailles in the morning and a drive and tour of Giverny and the home of Claude Monet. Our tour guide, Ludivine, was very knowledgeable and imparted a great deal of wonderful information about both sites. She also helped us to find a wonderful restaurant for lunch in Giverny. The next day Lucien met us at the Louvre for a marvelous tour throughout several of the sections of the Louvre that we were interested in seeing. He listened to what we were interested in as well as how we reacted to what he was showing us to personalize and adjust the tour throughout our time together. I highly recommend this company and their wonderful tour guides. We will definitely be using them again for future tours when we return to France.

Expérience fantastique: This was our second trip to Paris. I booked a private tour with My Private Paris for the Louvre and Opera House and Quentin was our guide. We had been to the Louvre before as well and seen the highlights that all other tours show you, but I wanted to see other points of interest. We had not been to the Opera House previously. Quentin was our guide and I instantly liked him (which was great seeing that we were spending 7 hours together). He was knowledgeable and interesting and helped me understand and view the paintings in a different way. I also learned more history of the Louvre itself that I hadn't previously known. We had lunch with him, which I enjoyed very much as well. The best guides are those you feel like you want to be friends with afterwards. Off to the Opera House, he took us on some off roads to show points of interest as well as some knowledge of Paris architecture. The Opera House was amazing. I can't imagine visiting here or the Louvre without a guide! This tour was early in our week in Paris and every tour we had afterwards, I kept comparing what I heard with them to what Quentin told us - and determining that he was right. The communication with the company was excellent, Quentin was excellent, well worth the extra money!

Expérience fantastique: We have just returned from a 6 week visit to Europe which included a river cruise of Bordeaux and an ocean cruise of the eastern Mediterranean. Out of all the sightseeing and excursions we took part in, we have decided that our full day tour of Versailles with Soline, was the highlight of our holiday. The chauffeured drive back to our hotel was particularly welcome after all the walking we did in the grounds of Versailles and the Petit Trianon.

On our drive, she gave us a bit of history on what was to come. When we arrived, everything was prepared and we zipped through the lines to start the tour. Expérience fantastique: My husband and I visited Paris in May 2023 for five days and wanted to see it all! We contacted Alexandre at My Private Paris and within one day he had our entire itinerary planned out for us! From private guided tours of the Louvre, Musee d’Orsay, Eiffel Tower and Montmarte, to a wine and cheese tasting in Le Marais, Alexandre also handled booking tickets for the Moulin Rouge and a Seine River cruise as well as private transfers to and from the airport. But in my husband’s and my opinion, the best part of My Private Paris was the tour guides themselves. We were lucky enough to have four different guides during our visit: Alex, Doina, Marc and Soline. They all were incredibly knowledgeable, energetic and fun to be around. Our experiences would not have been the same without them. Everything ran incredibly smoothly from start to finish. Alex could not have been more responsive to my many emails, questions and itinerary changes. He always responded quickly, effectively, and was as pleasant as could be. All of the guides and drivers were punctual and spoke English very well. I would use My Private Paris again in a heartbeat when visiting Paris and can’t recommend them highly enough.

Christina was our second guide of more than 10 that we had while there. At the end of the trip, we voted her our FAVORITE! Also - Manon is excellent with communication and scheduling. Next trip we will use this company for way more of our guided plans. Highly recommend!

We had several tours with them, and they are truly the best in the business! We did an all-day tour with Maelle at Versailles, and an all-day tour with Lucien in Normandy. Our private tours included a driver and guide, with pick up and drop off at our hotel. Our wonderful guides began immediately filling our heads with history and stories on the drive, so no time was wasted! Skipping lines also was a big time saver. We felt like royalty! On two other days, we did half-day tours with Alex in Montmartre and Tobias in the Marais, where we had specific meeting points. Again, we felt like walking around with these two knowledgeable local guides gave us such an edge, because they took us to the best spots, gave us historical references and stories to entertain us, all while taking us on the best path and shortcuts to get to each site quickly. On one day, we had to arrive late for our starting time due to illness on my part, and our guide, Alex, flawlessly accommodated the timing and made us feel like we didn’t miss a thing. All of the guides have impressive educational backgrounds and they train and prepare thoroughly for their work, and that comes through loud and clear. This is a 5-star company that communicates well via email and text messages and is extremely accommodating to any needs you may have regarding your tours. Expérience fantastique: My Private Paris certainly gave us a dream vacation. Our youngest daughter is graduating in May & Paris was her dream destination. My husband has traveled there for business, but has never had an opportunity to experience Paris. I had never been & was all too agreeable for this adventure. Luckily for us, My Private Paris was recommended by a colleague. I went online & within 24 hours I was contacted by Manon. She was so pleasant & attentive. We had a zoom call to get more detailed information & we knew we were in the right hands. We were in Paris for 6 1/2 days & scheduled tours for each day. Manon created the perfect itinerary. The care that was taken to make sure we could fit everything we wanted to see in the number of days we had was perfect! Our first evening, we met Tobias at the Eiffel Tower. The weather wasn't exactly cooperative (windy & rainy), but no matter, we were looking at all the lights in this beautiful city. He gave us so much information & some very interesting stories that made the experience unique. Day 2 - Doina took us on a full day walking tour. She was fantastic! We started at the Jardin des Tuileries. Gorgeous! We walked through The Marais, The Latin Quarter & across the Seine to Ile de la Cite where Notre Dame is located. We had lunch at a local restaurant where we enjoyed crepes & galettes. YUM! After lunch we took the Metro to see the Arc de Triomphe. You may not be as high up as the Eiffel Tower, but you earned another spectacular view by climbing the spiral staircase to the top. Doina was not only extremely knowledgeable about all the places we visited, but she was very easy to talk to. We felt like we were visiting a friend in Paris who was showing us the sites. That evening we took a gourmet dinner cruise. WOW! We had the best table on the boat & the food & service was exquisite! We ended the evening going to the top so we could see the sparkling lights of the Eiffel Tower. FANTASTIC! Day 3 - Versailles with Laure. This was the whole reason for taking our daughter to Paris. She desperately wanted to see Versailles! As I'm sure anyone reading this could imagine, it did NOT disappoint! The experience was only made better by our incredible guide, Laure, who I must admit made me feel like our oldest daughter was with us. Her knowledge was top notch, as was her passion in sharing it. There was a real level of comfort one might not expect in such a setting. My favorite part of Versailles was the Queen's private residence, Petit Trianon. It was so completely opposite from the very orderly Versailles gardens. The grounds were serene & winding. So beautiful in it's own way! Day 4 was supposed to take us to the Louvre. Due to protests that morning, the Louvre closed. Our incredible guide, Marine worked very well on the fly & decided to take us to Montmartre. We spent several hours winding our way up this beautifully unique area, learning so much about its history & the famous people who spent time there. We made it to the top to see Sacre-Coeur. We returned to the area in the evening to attend a show at the Moulin Rouge. What a show it was! The talent of these performers is outstanding! Day 5 - we took a tour of Pere Lachaise Cemetery with the lovely Christina. She was so fun & shared so many stories of the famous people buried there. Under a covered passageway, we had a wonderful Parisian lunch & then walked through the Palais-Royal Garden on our way back to the hotel. Day 6 - Our final day was changed with extremely short notice. When we were unable to visit the Louvre on day 4, we contacted Manon & she promptly changed our full day plans of Chantilly & Senlis to Chantilly & then the Louvre. Lucien was our guide & the ease with which he shared so much detailed information & made it so incredibly interesting, made me wonder why all history teachers can't be this engaging. Certainly I would have done much better in school if that had been the case. Sorry to be so long winded, but I want everyone to know that My Private Paris took excellent care of us! We could not have asked for more.

He was responsive, helpful, and so easy to work with throughout the process. Our first tour was of the Notre Dame/Île de la Cité region with Doina. She was fun, kind, and full of fascinating stories from French history. She expertly engaged the kids in our group (ages 13 and 10) and left all of us feeling like we'd made a new friend. Our second tour of Montmartre with Christina was also enjoyable. She showed us lots of important landmarks in Paris' arts and culture scene. When the skies opened up and started raining partway through our tour, she helped our group find umbrellas tout de suite. Our third tour, the Dark Legends and Myths tour, was with Alexandre himself and was our favorite of the bunch. It was enjoyable, eye-opening, and fascinating. Alexandre himself is a delightful person, and our whole group enjoyed our time with him so much. Every part of the experience of working with My Private Paris was easy and pleasant. We learned a lot on our tours and felt well cared for. We are all missing Paris, and we would work with My Private Paris again in a heartbeat!

Expérience fantastique: For our family trip to Paris, I booked three tours as well as a photography session through My Private Paris. After submitting an online request for personalized sessions, I promptly received the opportunity to schedule a 30-min zoom to discuss our desired itineraries and goals. Alexandre was receptive to our requests and within one-hour emailed a personalized itinerary for the week. The process of booking could not have been easier to arrange especially since we were 8 in total! Our first guide was Umberto - he met us at our hotel and took us on an amazing journey through the covered passages from the 9th to Le Palais Royal and ultimately to Les Galeries Lafayette rooftop. My mother was so sad at dinner when she realized he was not going to be our guide the next day! Umberto shared so many details of history, contemporary art, cultural nuances, and personal views of architecture. We were thrilled to have made a new friend that we will definitely see again on our next trip exploring another neighborhood in Paris. The next day, we were enchanted with Charlotte who kept our daughter engaged the entire three hours through Montmartre. We were again sad when our time together ended. She was vibrant and passionate about art history and also drew in all the generations of our family members with her broad knowledge of music and food. She is another friend that we hope to see again in our future travels. On our third day, we met Doina. She had the hard task of walking us through Le Marais on a drizzly afternoon. She quickly shifted gears and got us in for an impromptu visit to a breathtaking wine cellar in a cave where we ate more bread and cheese than I would like to admit while we listened to fascinating stories of French history and contemporary customs. We hope to see her again too! On our final day, most family members were less than thrilled with the photoshoot I had arranged. However, Romain quickly won them over with his photography tips and Eiffel Tower trivia. We walked 90-minutes from the Eiffel Tower to L'Arc de Triomphe where he created the most amazing souvenirs of our special week in Paris. On our next trip, we will reach out to Romain again. Our photos are stunning and priceless. Overall, I would not hesitate one moment in allowing My Private Paris to tailor tours for your family. If you are a big-group like us, with ages ranging from 8 to 71 years - do yourself a favor and book. We enjoyed unique experiences we could not have created on your own. The highlight above everything was their company - to walk through Paris with new friends who are excited to share their city with you is a gift. Umberto, Charlotte, Doina, and Romain are all warm, enthusiastic, fun, and knowledgable. We will without a doubt be in touch with Alexandre and all our new Parisian friends again.

Next we visited Montmartre where we had food and history experience. The food allowance in the tours was very generous and we were able to taste foods associated with France. Raphaelle ensured we made it back to the hotel safely. This night we went to Moulin Rouge for a great evening of entertainment. The high class car provided had an excellent driver. Thank you. After our late evening we were again collected by our guide Doina and a driver and taken to the Palace of Versailles. Doina shared her passion and knowledge of Versailles guiding us through the palace and gardens where we viewed areas we may have not found on our own. It became apparent that the guides were all aware of previous tours and built on historical information tying the sites together and increasing our understanding of the French identity and traditions. Raphaelle met us again in the afternoon taking us to the underground world of the catacombs. Raphaelle has a great depth of knowledge and passion about this site and we learnt a lot from her as well as being amazed by the millions of remains in the catacombs. We noticed other tourists walking the site missing the small details Raphaelle pointed out to us. We also had access to restricted areas On our fourth day we had the pleasure of Luke’s company guiding us through Fontainebleau Luke was friendly and knowledgeable providing insight to a region he grew up in. Again Luke provided information which tied together with our previous experiences. Our final guide was Toby who explored great food and wine with us in the Marais neighbourhood. Toby assisted us to select a variety of cheese and French bread before walking is through the areas sites admiring street art finishing at an underground wine cellar to enjoy our purchases with appropriate wines. Every guide provided individual attention to each member of our group focusing on our individual interests. We noticed in numerous sites our guides provided information on points of interest that other tourists walked past completely unaware of what they were missing! My Private Paris gave us the best possible time in Paris and surrounding area which we would never have managed on our own. It was stress free and fantastic. We had a very limited time in Paris, and with there being so much to see and so little time, I wanted to find a tour that fit our needs best. I should preface this by mentioning I am not usually an official tour type of person, but I wanted a unique experience with our limited stay in Paris. Everything with My Private Paris was smooth from start to finish. My concierge, Manon, was amazing. I had requested a same day tour of Fontainebleau and Versailles. Keep in mind that this was not a tour that was offered anywhere, and was completely by request in hopes it could be done. Manon was kind enough to work out our request with her team and make the tour happen! We had a full day booked for about 9-10 hours for just the two of us with a guide and driver. Communication with the company was perfect. Manon was very prompt and professional through Whatsapp and email. My Private Paris was the ONLY tour company (out of several I had contacted) who actually followed up with me in a timely manner and answered all my questions. The day before the tour she emailed me with contact info for the guide and their office details in case we needed anything. This company was SO on top of the details each step of the way... and let me tell you the details are what makes a top-notch luxury experience. Our guide Lucien met us in our hotel lobby. Both him and the driver, Anicet, were super chill and friendly, but also very professional. I also really appreciated Anicet's driving skills, he is a very calm and safe driver. Lucien, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable. His tour added much-needed historical context to what we were seeing that day. The entire experience was full of fascinating stories and fun conversation, and he did not shy away from our questions when we had them. It was truly an awesome, immersive experience, and worth every penny. I would absolutely book a private tour with them again. I have told several friends and family members about this tour company. In hindsight, I would have booked each of our days in Paris with them for a different day tour. It will be something I remember for many years to come and that is where the true value is. Olek is knowledgeable, eloquent and took us through the museum telling the story of the art of the time. Our favorite tour was with Victor, who spent four hours with us in the Marais, the Latin Quarter, Ile de la Cité and the breathtaking Sainte Chapelle. When we come back, we would love to spend a day with him at the Louvre. The Charlottes were charming and fun, and we enjoyed both the shopping, and our trip to Montmartre. And of course, our private champagne boat ride at dusk on the Seine with Yael was magical. First, our Versailles tour with Victor was a dream, especially for my wife who lives for experiences like these. Victor was warm, friendly, smart, passionate, and extremely knowledgeable about the museum and grounds. There is no possible way we could have gotten this experience ourselves without his incredible details and ability to avoid the crowds. Next we had a tour of Montmartre with Audrey. We learned the history of the area and really gained a deeper appreciation for the artistic history and the more contemporary street art.
