Expérience fantastique: We organized a custom tour with UniqueTours Riviera and it turned out to be one of the HIGHLIGHTS of our entire 3 week trip to France. We only had 48 hours in the NIce area, so it was important to us that we book with a company that would be flexible but also be able to make the most of our time. I am so happy to share that we spent the most enjoyable, informative and perfectly orchestrated day with the super knowledgeable Mago. We can not say enough about his charismatic personality, the fact that he is a walking encyclopedia on just about everything France and the fact that we was able to read our group and our pace to make sure that every aspect was enjoyable and we were getting the most out of every place we visited. His restaurant suggestion was fabulous - we felt like we were dining with locals instead of at a tourist spot. We started the day as strangers and ended our day as friends. Expérience fantastique: Mago!!! Thank you for creating such a magical experience for Renee and me during our recent trip to Nice! It was the highlight of our trip to the South of France. I have travelled the world extensively for many years but I must say this was one of the best tours I have had the opportunities to take. From the moment, he arrived to pick us up from our hotel in extremely comfortable transportation, I could tell we were in store for a treat. He made a point of identifying our interest to better customize our tour align with them. A history scholar and art expert, Mago was able to paint a vivid picture of the storied past of the beautiful cities surrounding Nice. We felt as if we were transported back in time and were living the experiences he described. Mago was not only knowledgeable, he was personable, witty, patient and attentive. He allowed us time to shop and purchase pieces of art and gifts, suggested locales for great photos and actually took the pictures of us. We were two women traveling alone and he made sure were safe and comfortable in the crowds and maneuvering the stairs and cobblestone streets. I was so impressed with his tour business, I have asked him to curate my family’s trip to Provence next year. Expérience fantastique: La visite était incroyable ! C'est un incontournable si vous êtes dans la région de Nice/Cannes. Mago était spirituel, drôle et extrêmement bien informé. Il a rendu la visite captivante et a été très accommodant car nous voyagions avec un bébé. Les heures ont passé vite parce que nous nous amusions beaucoup. Eze et St Paul de Vance ont dépassé mes attentes.

Nous sommes en total accord pour dire que c'est la meilleure visite que nous ayons jamais faite. Mago, le guide touristique et propriétaire, connaît bien l'art, la culture française, la vie quotidienne française ainsi que l'histoire. Donc, non seulement nous avons reçu les bases de ce que nous regardions, mais nous avons aussi reçu des anecdotes et l'importance de ce que nous discutions. C'est une visite privée, donc il n'y a pas de distraction de nombreuses personnes et la visite est individualisée. Mago a pris le temps de s'asseoir et de discuter, ou il s'adaptait plus rapidement en fonction de nos retours. Il était drôle et sérieux, et les 8 heures ont filé. Si vous voulez vraiment en apprendre davantage sur l'histoire et la culture de la Côte d'Azur, c'est la visite que vous devez faire.

Expérience fantastique: Mago est le MEILLEUR ! Ma fille et moi voulions voir tous les points forts d'Eze, Monaco, Nice et Antibes. Son anglais est excellent et il fournit suffisamment d'histoire tout en laissant du temps libre pour profiter. Nous voudrions certainement passer plus de temps dans ces endroits à l'avenir, mais nous avions un emploi du temps serré, donc nous n'avons pas pu profiter de chaque lieu en profondeur. Pour nous, c'était parfait, mais d'autres peuvent vouloir se détendre et passer plus de temps de qualité à chaque destination. Mago est une mine de connaissances et très AMUSANT ! Je le recommande vivement, ainsi que son équipe !

We told him before the tour that we weren't very interested in the Monaco casino and instead wanted some time by the water, that we love history, and that we love Formula 1. He was so excited to share the history of the region, and we had a fantastic time learning from him. He focused the tour around our particular interests, and we learned so much! The sights on this tour, along with Mago's amazing hosting skills were worth every penny. Eze was stunning and so unexpected. If you're trying to decide whether to take this tour, just do it. You're going to love it!

Expérience fantastique: My husband and I had the best time in the South of France thanks to Mago. Starting with the booking process, I reached out to them months before our trip. They were very responsive (trust me, I had plenty of questions) and they were able to map out a comprehensive itinerary for the 2 full days that we have. For our 1st day, we went to Monaco, Monte Carlo and Eze Village. For our 2nd day, we went to Antibes, Cannes and St. Paul de Vence. The whole trip went smoothly. Another plus is that Mago helped us secure a transfer to the airport on the day of our departure since it was the first day of Carnaval in Nice, and everything was hectic. Mago was very knowledgeable, humorous and he kept the whole tour entertaining. The whole tour felt personable. Above all that, he was very friendly and made us feel comfortable right from the start. We truly enjoyed his tours, but most importantly, we enjoyed the lunch we had with him in St. Paul de Vence. It felt like having lunch with a friend. My husband and I have taken a few tours worldwide and this is something that we will absolutely remember forever! I hope to some day come back to Nice and take another tour with Mago. This tour - and I’m sure any experience with Unique Tours - is the perfect mix of educational, sightseeing, and activity. We’ve been on many tours, but this tour was truly unique because of Mago. He will hold a special place in our memories of Nice.

Mago (our guide) was extraordinary and customized the tour to our desired pace and priorities. The day flew by, and looking back we saw & experienced so many great things that we would not have on our own. Our 3 teenagers who frankly were toured out at this point of our European vacation had a fantastic time. He engaged them expertly and by the end they said they had a great time which as parents was music to our ears. Expérience fantastique: Loved the 2 tours we had with Mago. We were a group of 4 (2 couples) and one tour was Eze, Monaco and Monte Carlo, and second tour was of Nice. Mago is a great storyteller and historian as he weaved in both to make the places we visited come alive. I realized how good Mago was when we went on a different tour to Antibes and St Paul de Vence. Our guide drove around Antibes and told us some facts without stopping and dropped us off at the bottom of St Paul de Vence and left us to own devices. I can only imagine how much better the day would have been with Mago and regret the wasted opportunity. If you have a chance, book with Unique Tours and treat yourself for a day you won’t regret.

He is deeply knowledgeable about the history, but also shares a locals perspective, as he grew up in Nice. He is relaxed easy going and friendly. The van is a spotless, new and very comfortable. This trip we went to Monaco. TIP. Bring your passport with you and you can get it stamp from Monaco at City Hall. Few people have this stamp in their passports. We loved our time with Unique Tours Riveria... and plan to come back for a 2nd trip to Saint-Paul de Vence, which was highly recommended!

Expérience fantastique: Mago is seriously the best tour guide in the French Rivera!! We booked the French Rivera private tour with mago for our family of 4 and all all our expectations were exceeded. Mago was incredibly friendly, super knowledgeable, passionate and flexible to everyone’s needs. He geared and personalized the tour to our interests so well so that everyone in the family was happy and got what they wanted out of it. For example, I love art and really was excited for St. Paul, so Mago made sure to go above and beyond to ensure I got the full St. Paul experience and was sooo knowledge about the history of the town and it’s contributions to art. Another example, my daughters really care about getting the best pictures in the best “insta” spots. He again went above and beyond to take them to the best spots and was super patient with all the pictures they wanted to take. He also took amazing photos of our family. He also did such a great job with telling us about the history of every where we saw in such detail, but also made it exciting by including fun stories about modern pop culture, Hollywood etc (which was great since we had our girls with us who usually get a little bored of history). To top it all off, he even texted us afterwards to give us detailed recommendations for the next day complete with the best spots and restaurants in the other towns we wanted to see. This day was the highlight of our entire trip to France and I cannot recommend Mago enough to any group who is looking for a tailored and perfect day exploring the riviera!!

From being picked up at the hotel to being dropped off at a fantastic restaurant he recommended, we had an absolute blast. First, Mago was extremely easy to communicate with prior to the trip, and the tour was completely customizable. We landed up seeing Eze, St. Paul de Vence (which we hadn't planned on but Mago was able to make it work once he realized it would be of interest to us), beautiful outlook points, and a drive through of Nice (and a bit of Cannes). I knew from the minute Mago greeted us at the cruise dock it would be a fabulous day. Mago is personable, entertaining, and you can tell he really enjoys what he does. I was least excited for this port on my trip, but boy was I wrong - turned out to be my favorite port. In 2019 I visited the first time and took a tour with Unique tours, it was that good I thought I would go back. If you want a hands on intermit tour then this is for you. The places you go to really are "Unique" and are made very interesting by Maga. This is very different to your usual tourist adventures. We visited Monaco and Eze, the tour guide Maga is a local to the area made it very special for me and my friends, it was very interesting to know the history of the place.
